Lead Floor Technician Job Description

This position is based at a federal government facility. Candidates must pass a background check and fingerprinting.

Company Overview:Integrity National Corporation provides custodial and floor care services to the US MINT in Philadelphia.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee floor cleaning operations including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing in areas such as cafeterias, bathrooms, hallways, and stairwells.
  • Perform specialized floor care tasks, including carpet and upholstery cleaning, and stripping and waxing of tile, concrete, and terrazzo floors.
  • Use and maintain various equipment such as single disc machines, boost machines, wet/dry vacuums, ride-on floor machines, low and high-speed buffers, and other related machinery.
  • Apply floor stripping and waxing techniques, ensuring proper removal of old wax, floor neutralization, and application of new wax.
  • Adapt to and manage adverse flooring conditions, ensuring safety and quality of work.
  • Ensure all jobs are completed in a timely manner and all equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and accounted for.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests for service, demonstrating commitment to meeting their needs.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One to three years of related floor care experience and/or training is preferred.

Job Type: Full-TimeSchedule:

  • 40 hours per week, working 4 weekdays and every Saturday. One weekday off.
  • Weekdays: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
  • Saturdays: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay: $17.20 to $18.44 per hour based on experience, Includes vacation, sick days, and paid federal holidays.
